The first time I saw her ... her dimples were the one so attractive plus with her lip gloss which was too shiny for tht vy first class of the semester . Ah !! did I miss to mention about her well groomed hairstyle ?? Her hair was straight and was well crop according to her round cute face ... she wore glasses which were invisible to my eyes as they were framless ...
tht was her physical appearence ... whenever she widen her mouth ... seriously i got stuck in her dimples ... and I doubt I was the only one among the 46 of us :)
Her use dwilanguages were preety.. she spoke perfect English as well as Malay ... I love the style she mix it ... I have seen people who switch from one to another spoken language when they gasp for vocabulary ... but she was unlike others ... the switch in language was intended ... seriously ... it didn't make is think that she was not good in tht perticular language instead make us felt more comfortable with her ...
Should also mention about the way she deals with conflicts ... I would laugh ... she is poor in using harsh words ... but very good in sarcasm ... juniors told me soo ... she is also easily distracted by things we wore ... she love to see us preety too ... once she was soo angry and was saying some serious ... and suddenly she asked a female classmate .." jasmine .. is tht necklace attached to your blouse ??? " I nearly laughed !!! Thank God I didn't !!
I admire her too much .. ! As i m sensitive to wht she purchase frm the cafe and also her words ... which I think resembles much of her past experince ,,, She is not old ... She is just 33 and unmarried ! who still live in her teenage period !!
Life is People !
What is happiness without the people around you ... but still they are the cause of most troubles around you . I choose to say and share about them .. For me it is a better way to appreciate myself also those that I would be writing about ... enjoy it !You might have or may spot them around you too !

Blogs...
I begin blogging when I was in my foundation years .It was the time I enjoyed blogging as many of my friends leaves their comments on my blogs. My blogs mainly tell things about life and despair and also happiness. My blog was the place people leant about my thoughts and also the way I am.
However, I after certain period I seldom post blogs as did not get any idea what to be blogged. The interest in blogging lessens as the server got down always.
This semester I begin to blog again. This time it is not related to my personal life. This blogs were mainly for educational purposes .Mostly were all of my reviews of writing and reading plays. All together there are 10 posts that I have created.
In my opinion, writing blogs has given me a chance to reflect my thoughts. Moreover, those blogs has been providing me a path to throw my views on certain incidents that I want people to know as well. Whenever my friends comment on my blogs, I again got opportunity to compare my views with my friends.
In conclusion, blogging has made me to reflect on what I see and write. In future, blogging will not be alien among the school students as I have seen school students’ blogs in a particular web page called Friendster. Although they blog about their personal life, they still write it in a reflective way. Reflective writing should be encouraged as it will eventually help these students to think and act maturely.

Pre-reading and while reading
This time I everyone was tired of the word “Micro-teaching” I guess. The class was not as responsive as before. Compare to the Set Induction session, I can see an obvious changes in the mood of the class. Today is the day I completed my evaluation form as well. Personally, I feel relief after handing the evaluation forms to the individuals.
What shall I say about these two sessions with our tutor? Ermm... Well, it was a bullet train speed presentation .As the final examination is just around the corner we had no choice other than presenting in this way. However, I am glad that the session has already hit its end. This time, while I presented I was not as confident as I was for my set induction session. I felt unprepared while doing the activity.
In the process of preparing the task for the students, at first I was clueless. I thought of doing about the element of “Theme” at the first glace of the story. Later, I changed my mind and thought of doing the element of “characters” but I end up doing the element of “Plot” as I did not get any idea of doing the element of “Theme” and “Characters” for the drama that I have selected.
For the Pre-reading activity I asked the students to guess the ending of the story and for the while-reading activity I asked them to rearrange the events as well as use the information to fill the diagram of a plot .The second task in the while-reading activity was a group task and the students enjoyed participating in the activity.
However, before giving them the task sheets I did a brief explanation about the plot. This was to ensure the students understanding of the task later. I truly appreciate the cooperation given by my friends in making my activity successful. THANK YOU GUYS!!
Overall, the presentation /the activities carried out by my friends for their pre and while reading session ware good and relevant .I got many ideas popping in mind as I looked at their task sheets and the activities. I hope I will have an opportunity during my practicum to perform the activities created by my friends.

Movements and moments...
The first thing strike in my mind when talking about traditional dancing is Zapin and Barathanatyam.Well ,both dances are very femiliar in my case.
Barathanatyam .I learnt this dance when i was in primaray school. However the dream did not go far as i stop entering the class when i was in standard six .My parents were worried as i was in the exam year and i had some problem with the transportation.
Although I was stop from the dance class earlier,I still have the interst in joining and learning more the wonderful art.Hope soon there will be a chance for to fullfill my wish.
Besides that ,I have something to say about Zapin the Malay Traditional dance.Well,I had the experince of joining this dance during the celebration for our independence Day in Johore Baharu.
I have never thought that It would be that taugh in learning that dance.Well, through eyes they seem to be simple but actually it is not as simple as we see.I can still feel the pain in my tights.Oh Dear!It was really painful...
Though ,I still enjoyed the days we learnt Zapin.Barefooted on the mud and still dancing while it rains ...reminds me of all the beautiful things with my friends.
The beauty of the event was when we ,regardless of our difference in race, culture and religion believe had to work hard for the wonderful event.Traditional dances were performed by people from other races and believe !It was interesting!!and meaningful!Chayok Malaysia!

Set Induction
The presentation for the set induction ware mostly focused on power point shows and movies clips. I would say that all my class members ware excluded in using the power point show.
In my view, it is a wonderful idea yet there are some disadvantages of the technology being used for the set induction. Students will be attracted to the video clips as they are funny and interesting. However, I doubt if they can really understand the language of the songs or movie clips played.
The movie or song clips played uses a very high standard of words and phrases that may confuse the students’ mind .The students also will lose interest for the entire lesson when they failed to get the concept of the set induction. Thus, teachers should be very particular and careful in selecting material for the students.
As the set induction is the introductory for the lesson, teachers should be aware of several things in selecting the material for their set induction. First of all, teachers should consider the age of the students. Students from lower secondary think and experience situation differently compare to the upper secondary students. Moreover, the language proficiency differs as well. Therefore, teachers should not select video clips that will not trigger their schemata or interest.
Apart from the age, the place that the school is situated also effects the teachers’ preparation of the lesson. If the students are from rural area, teachers will have to face some challenges in making the students understand the lesson. If a movie video clip of ‘James Bond ‘or ‘Twilight’ is to be used, I suggest that the teacher should rethink about the set induction.
In my opinion, set induction should be something simple, attractive and easy for the students to get the concept of it. This way will ensure that our students do not feel lost or de-motivated in learning the lesson. So, as teachers we should think smart and act smart !

Kee Thuan Chye
It is always not an easy job searching information about our Malaysian writers. Searching their literary works is far more challenging than searching for writers’ identity. I wonder why this happens.
I have read many literary works of our Malaysian writers. They are far more interesting than the foreign writers. I love reading our local works as I can easily understand the massage of the writer.
Yesterday was a wonderful meaningful meeting with a Malaysian writer. Kee Thuan Chye. I really admired the words he spoke. It was my first meeting with a Malaysian writer. He is a simple man with amazing thoughts. His words are not as simple as he looks.
I would like to highlight a part of his speech that triggered my interest in listening to him. We asked him about his play and why it is often played in Singapore? He said that his plays are not approved by the police as they refuse to give them permit in staging the play in Malaysia. In my opinion, I think there should be police officer who has a very good language background. This particular police man should be play writer himself .Being a police as well as a play writer will somehow make him to understand the hard work of other writers especially our Malaysian writers.
It is a waste for the country of not realizing and appreciating these Malaysian writers. I am glad that I had an opportunity or more descriptively said…Golden chance… in meeting our Malaysian writer Kee Thuan Chye. Meeting and listening to them perhaps can make us aware of the massage they would like to convey to the readers.
As a varsity student, I feel that students should be exposed to all the literary works of our writers. Reading the materials produced by our writers will somehow make them aware of this writers’ existence .In other way, it will create a space for the students to think and act maturely.
